Crisis Intervention
The Crisis Intervention program is offered on-site at the West Nipissing General Hospital to individuals experiencing a crisis.
The program includes assessment, crisis counselling, and referral to appropriate resources as required.
If an individual is suicidal or homicidal, 911 should be called.
For individuals residing in West Nipissing, services can be accessed by calling or in person by presenting at the West Nipissing General Hospital information desk and request to speak to a crisis worker.

Individuals can ask to speak to a crisis worker in person by going to the emergency department at the West Nipissing General Hospital. Outside of these hours, individuals are asked to call Nipissing Crisis Intervention Services in North Bay at 705-495-7961 or 800-352-1141.
