The program offers psychotherapy and counselling services to decrease the number of psychiatric hospitalizations and emergency room visits. Certain individuals may present with serious mental illness but do not require long-term intensive community intervention.
Services are individually tailored and focus on assisting clients to identify and reduce symptoms of distress, increase ability to manage symptoms of illness, reduction in self-harm. We offer psychoeducational and therapeutic group sessions on various topics. Treatment plans are individually tailored to support a community based recovery model.
Referrals are received from all sources.
Screening appointments are available weekdays and contact will be made within 48 hours of the initial referral. Individuals may access both mental health and substance use services through the same intake process.
