Program Description

Provide: assessment and referral, counselling and treatment, relapse prevention support, harm reduction strategies, support for family members and withdrawal management support.

Social workers are part of the hospital integrated social work service and will accept referrals during daily rounds.

Referrals are accepted from all sources, including self-referrals.

Telephone counselling can be provided if necessary.
