Program Description

MODEL is a community-based addictions outreach treatment program for women.

Services are based on a harm reduction approach. This program provides practical help and supports women in a respectful, flexible, and culturally appropriate manner to meet their individual needs. Women who are concerned about their substance use and are worried about how it is affecting them, including issues such as hepatitis C and/or HIV, their family, and/or their children can access this service.

Access Information

For women who are pregnant, or newly parenting, and are users of opioids such as heroin, morphine, codeine, Oxycontin, Percocet, Hydromorphone, fentanyl, Vicodin, etc., are eligible.
Referrals are accepted from all sources, including self-referrals.
