Program Description

The Day Hospital provides short-term transitional support and treatment for adults who are experiencing intense mental health concerns.

This is a day treatment service delivered through groups and individual support as needed.

Access Information

Access to the Mount Hope Day Hospital is through Emergency Crisis services, the Adult Inpatient Mental Health unit (on discharge) or through Centralized Intake in the Adult Outpatient services.

Centralized Intake provides urgent access as an alternative to an emergency department visit.

Referrals are accepted from Primary care physicians; individuals are triaged and referred to the most appropriate service based on need.
