Program Description

Available to individuals living with mental illness that are involved with the criminal justice system through mental health court diversion or on release from a provincial correctional facility.

Housing case managers support tenants in maintaining their housing to support their recovery goals. A housing case manager acts as a mediator to form a positive working relationship between the tenant and landlord, and to encourage accountability from tenants.

Referrals accepted from all sources, including self-referrals.

The program is available to individuals who reside in Kenora and whose recovery can be appropriately managed through community-based case management services.
