Bed-Based Treatment - Substance Use
House of Friendship’s community-based live-in treatment programs are designed for individuals whose lives have been significantly impacted by substance use. In a safe environment, individuals will identify and address areas for personal growth while participating in evidence-based groups and individual therapy sessions. Abstinence is expected while in program.
Individuals living within the Waterloo Wellington area are to call Here 24/7 to complete an assessment and referral.
For applicants residing outside of the Waterloo Wellington area, a referral form will need to be completed by a community addictions/mental health agency, a social service organization that is currently supporting the applicant, or a primary care practitioner. The referral form is available on the House of Friendship website. Medical form(s) will need to be completed by medical provider(s) as part of the screening process.
Individual must only require one safe supply dose per day. More than one per day cannot be supported in the program.
