Intensive/Day Treatment - Substance Use

Program Description

The Staged Day Treatment Program involves Introductory Treatment (Stage 1) and Intensive Treatment (Stage 2) for individuals who are concerned with their substance use.

Introductory Treatment is a weekly supportive and skill building group designed to prepare you for participation in the Intensive Program.

Intensive Treatment is a 2-week group intended for individuals who believe they can benefit from participating in a virtual or in-person group counselling program and are committed to a lifestyle that supports their individual substance use goals.

Access Information

Individuals living in the Waterloo/Wellington Region can complete a "My assessment" which is completed along with referrals from Here 24/7.

The intensive 2-week program is offered in person in Kitchener and virtually for individuals residing in Waterloo/Wellington region.

The Introductory Treatment groups will be taking place virtually through Zoom; access to an email address, internet connection, and a device with a microphone and camera is required to participate. If an individual is unable to participate virtually, they can inform the Day Treatment Counsellor upon referral or at Intake to discuss alternative options.
