Intensive/Day Treatment - Substance Use

Program Description

The Staged Day Treatment Program involves Introductory Treatment (Stage 1) and Intensive Treatment (Stage 2) for individuals who are concerned with their substance use.

Introductory Treatment is a weekly supportive and skill building group designed to prepare you for participation in the Intensive Program.

Intensive Treatment is a 2-week group intended for individuals who believe they can benefit from participating in a virtual or in-person group counselling program and are committed to a lifestyle that supports their individual substance use goals.

Access Information

ADAT or GAIN Q3 MI ONT assessment required. "My" assessment is also accepted by service providers within the Waterloo Region.

The Introductory and Intensive groups will be taking place virtually through Zoom; access to an email address, internet connection, and a device with a microphone and camera is required to participate. If you would like to participate in a virtual program but do not have access to each of these requirements, please speak to a Day Treatment staff to discuss how we may be able to assist you. In-person involvement is also an option.
