Peer/Self-Help - Mental Health
Support programming for people living with schizophrenia and psychosis.
Support initiatives aim to increase the ability of participants to meet personal recovery goals through:
- exploring the many aspects of recovery
- sharing knowledge and tools that help participants take responsibility for their wellness and stability
- introducing a variety of self-help techniques
- finding effective ways to reach out to family members, friends, and service providers
- understanding medications
- personal recovery planning
Program also provides one-on-one counselling supports and system navigation to individuals living with schizophrenia on an as-needed basis.
Referrals are accepted from all sources.
