Program Description

Voices from the Street is a speaker's bureau composed of individuals who have had direct experience with homelessness, poverty, and/or mental health issues.

Members of Voices have graduated from a 12-week training program that provides training on public speaking, policy issues, how government works, diversity issues, communication, conflict resolution, and working with the media.

Members of `Voices from the Street' are available to speak on various topics related to poverty, mental health issues, addictions, homelessness, domestic violence and other topics involving marginalized communities.
