Crisis Intervention

Program Description

The Crisis Response Service strives to reduce the negative impact of victimization by:
- providing 24/7 crisis intervention services on-site to victims of crime and tragic circumstances at the request of police or fire
- providing information and referrals for ongoing support in the community
- safety planning for all eligible victims of crime
- providing community education, training and development
- engaging in advocacy for victims
- needs assessment and customized service plans
- enhanced support for vulnerable victims
- coordinating services with other community organizations

Access Information

On-site support must be initiated by police or fire. Community members needing support can call during business hours to inquire.
