Program Description

Supports clients who are currently engaged within the justice system either through participation in the Community Support Court in Kawartha Lakes/Haliburton/Peterborough or those individuals who may be receiving services through the Release from Custody program.

A fundamental requirement for referral is that an identified treatment plan has been developed and housing has been identified as a primary objective to the reduction of recidivism.

Access Information

Referrals can be from: self, family, friends, doctors, community agencies, and other professionals, hospitals or institutions, however individuals must engage with the supports offered at CMHA HKPR through the Justice Services team prior to accessing Justice Supportive Housing. Additionally, individuals must meet the criteria outlined for Release from Custody or court diversion and support.
