Outpatient Clinic - Mental Health

Program Description

The Prompt Care Clinic is an outpatient service that provides quick access to specialized mental health care and includes psychiatrists, psychologist, nurses and social workers. The clinic will triage each referral to determine who will be involved in each individual’s assessment and treatment. The team at the Prompt Clinic will work with the individual’s primary care provider (the doctor who referred the individual) to provide guidance for care. The clinic does not take over care on an ongoing basis, nor will the clinic provide prescriptions to individuals.

The Prompt Care Clinic can provide:

- Mental health assessment, including treatment recommendations
- Short-term psychotherapy (up to four sessions per individual)
- Medication recommendations (primary care providers will be responsible for providing individual’s with prescriptions)

Access Information

Referrals only accepted from primary care practitioner (physician or nurse practitioner).
Online referral form to be filled out by Primary care clinicians.
