Community-Based Withdrawal Management
Community Withdrawal Management provides medical withdrawal management support in home or another safe space. Educational events and presentations available for community members, service providers, employers.
People who are committed to the medical assisted, withdrawal process from drugs and/or alcohol. Must also have:
- A safe and quiet home environment free from substance use
- Strong social supports, including commitment of a trusted and reliable individual who can provide support through the withdrawal process
- Little to no risk of experiencing a complicated withdrawal (i.e., seizures)
Self-referrals can be made by calling the intake worker.
Referrals can also be accepted by community organizations, health care providers, and other allied healthcare professionals by faxing a completed referral form.
