Program Description

This program offers confidential counselling to individuals (aged 18 years or older) in recovery from addiction. The goal is to teach relapse prevention skills to assist individuals in becoming more aware of the biopsychosocial factors directly associated with addiction, relapse, and recovery.

The sessions are designed to enable individuals to:
- understand addiction and its symptoms
- make a recovery decision
- recognize stress and denial
- identify and manage cravings
- recognize and manage high-risk situations
- manage addictive thoughts, feelings, urges and actions
