Home Care - Mental Health
The Behavioural Supports Ontario (BSO) program provides support for older adults presenting with (or at risk of developing) responsive behaviours, and their care partners.
Individuals are supported where they reside, wherever that may be.
Treatment is provided by a multi-disciplinary team, including registered nurses, care of the elderly physicians, and additional elderly care support services. Access to a geriatric psychiatrist can be arranged through a care provider referral if required.
Referrals to the BSO program can be made by calling the Northeast Regional BSO central intake office.
Referrals can also be faxed or submitted through an online form.
