Addiction Support Services - National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP)

Program Description

NNADAP provides prevention strategies through culturally appropriate programming to educate and create awareness about addictions and addiction-free lifestyles. Counsellors provide assessments and referrals to; treatment centers, residential acute withdrawal services, community treatment and opioid use disorder case management. Short-term counseling in crisis situations and out-patient counseling services are available. Harm reduction supplies, Naloxone kit distribution, Lock Box programs are also offered. Aftercare and follow up services provide support to individuals returning home or to their community from treatment and provide ongoing care.
