Outpatient Clinic - Mental Health
Provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning services for mental health-related illnesses for adults aged 18 to 64.
The assessment process may include a screening phone interview with a mental health clinician, followed by an assessment which is generally done by a psychiatric resident and psychiatrist together. Program works with the individual to decide on a treatment care plan. The treatment care plan may include medication options, psycho-social interventions, individual or group therapies, or recommendations for educational tools and self-help resources. Depending on the care needs, the plan may include time limited follow-up visits in the clinic or direction to appropriate resources outside of Sinai Health. The plan will be communicated to the referring physician.
Physician referrals are required.

Participants must be 18 years and over with a variety of psychiatric/emotional problems.
Participants must live in the city of Toronto.
Participants cannot take part if they have:
-primary problems related to substance use
-primary autism
