Program Description

Psychoeducational Groups provide support to individuals and their loved ones by providing groups for persons that have recently experienced the death of a loved one/family member.

Psychosocial Groups can help with:
-Support with coping with a life-limiting diagnosis and/or death of a loved one.
- Support and coping with bereavement and grief including anticipatory grief.

Access Information

Anyone can refer, including self. All participants must register with Hospice intake before attending any groups. Please check the calendar on our website for updates on groups or call intake for dates and further information.
Call for referral.
Eligibility: Individuals diagnosed with a life limiting diagnosis and/or their caregivers and family. Individuals who have lost a loved one due to an expected death within the last 18-20 months (either within the community, hospital or at the Hospice Residence).
