Program Description

Psychoeducational Groups provide support to individuals and their loved ones by providing Wellness Groups that are based on trends and needs of individuals and their loved ones.

Psychosocial Groups can help with:
- Coping with a life altering injury and the accompanying emotions such as anxiety and depression.
- Support with coping with a life altering diagnosis and/or death of a loved one.
- Support and coping with bereavement and grief.

Access Information

Anyone can refer, including self. All participants must register with Hospice intake before attending any groups. Please check the calendar on our website for updates on groups or call intake for dates and further information.
Call for referral.
Eligibility: Individuals diagnosed with a life limiting diagnosis and/or their caregivers and family. Individuals who have lost a loved one while in palliative care (either within the community, hospital or at the Hospice Residence).
