Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health
This program offers single-session counselling services on a weekly basis.
This service is available to children, youth, and adults of all ages, as well as to couples, parents, and families.
Some of the issues that can be discussed include, (but are not limited to):
- abuse
- depression and anxiety
- family conflict
- relationship issues
- school issues
- separation and divorce
- sexual abuse or assault
- stress
- substance use
- bereavement issues.
Call or walk-in to access in person appointments. Phone or video counselling options are also available.

Main Hours: Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Services will alternate between Thunder Bay Counselling (TBC) , 544 Winnipeg Avenue, and Children’s Centre Thunder Bay (CCTB) , 283 Lisgar Street. The clinic will be held at TBC the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, and at CCTB the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. If there is a 5th Wednesday, there will be no clinic on that day.
