Program Description

A community-based service that dispatches trained teams of crisis workers to respond to non-emergency calls from people in crisis and requests for wellbeing checks, using a client-centred, trauma-informed approach.

Multidisciplinary crisis teams will respond to calls received based on the call type, location, dispatch criteria and availability of teams.

TCCS crisis workers can be identified by their green lanyard and identification card, and vehicle logo.

Access Information

Individuals aged 16 years and older can access the service by calling 211.

TCCS provides service in four intentional areas of Toronto.
