Program Description

Program includes addiction treatment, relapse prevention, stage one trauma treatment, and a nurturing/parenting program and is a provincial resource that provides obstetrical and addiction medical services specializing in high-risk pregnancies. There are four dedicated Early Childhood Development (ECD) beds for women living within the Home and Community Care Support Services Erie St. Clair Region, who are struggling with addiction, who are pregnant or have just given birth (within 2 months).

All individuals must complete the House of Sophrosyne's screening package. It is preferred that an outside agency completes the package with the client, but if that isn't possible, clients can contact the agency directly.

Individuals must be stabilized at least three to five days prior to entering treatment.
