Type Of Service

Bed-Based Treatment - Substance Use

Bed-Based Treatment - Mental Health

Program Description

Pelican High Peak Family Healing Lodge is a live-in service for Indigenous families with a youth family member currently going through active recovery of substance use and/or mental health issues. The program assists in strengthening relationships with immediate family members and supports families through the family reunification process. The program focuses on healing through culture and land-based healing. Teaching surrounding the 7 grandfathers, medicine wheel, medicines and the drum are paramount in helping youth begin to see things through a traditional lens. Over the course of the program we focus on purpose, hope, meaning and belonging.

The program can accommodate one family at a time, with a maximum of 10 family members.
