Bed-Based Withdrawal Management

Program Description

Individuals who require medical supports and substance use withdrawal services.

The focus of this service is to assist individuals at risk for complicated withdrawal from alcohol.

Assessments, treatment of withdrawal symptoms, obersvation and community follow-ups are offered.

Access Information

Referrals are made for individuals presenting at the Emergency Department (ED) with substance use or opioid overdose.

Referrals can also come from RAAM, primary care, community mental health and addiction service providers.
