Program Description

The Sahatiha'hará:ne Detox Center (SDC) offers short-term, medical management services for individuals who want to detoxify from alcohol and/or drugs. SDC offers supportive counselling and other services. The SDC is a medical facility, and will have registered medical staff members to provide physician and nursing oversight.

Access Information

Self and professional referrals accepted, with consent of individual. Call for referral.

Pre-admission screening for eligibility is required and completed on Fridays. Admission to program occurs on Mondays.

Individuals must have a band registry, and either OHIP, QHIP or Non-Insured Health Benefits to pay for medication.
