Program Description

The Sahatiha'hará:ne Detox Center (SDC) offers short-term, medical management services for individuals who want to detoxify from alcohol and/or drugs. SDC offers supportive counselling and other services. The SDC is a medical facility, and will have registered medical staff members to provide physician and nursing oversight.

Access Information

Referral accepted from all sources with consent of individual. Call for referral. Preadmission screening for eligibility required, and is completed on Fridays. Admission to program occurs on Mondays.
Individuals must have a band registry, and either OHIP, QHIP or Non-Insured Health Benefits to pay for medication.
