Adolescent Eating Disorders Day Treatment

Intensive/Day Treatment - Mental Health

Program Description

For adolescents who struggle with an eating disorder and requires more eating disorder support than what is offered in an outpatient setting. The duration of service is 16 weeks.

Eating disorder treatment and education is provided to participants and their families in three phases through an interdisciplinary model of care. Participants and their families receive individual, group, and family therapy targeting ED symptom management and improvement.

At program completion, participants and their families are discharged back to their family physician and/or referring providers depending on need.

Inclusion criteria:
Diagnosis of an Eating Disorder: Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED).

Access Information

Referrals are accepted from physicians and nurse practitioners. Referrals are made through central intake.
