Peer/Self-Help - Mental Health

Program Description

Peer Support Worker and Peer Mentors contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space that is free of judgment and stigma. They are trained to recognize when a youth may be struggling with mental health challenges, respond in a manner that supports that person's wellbeing, and determine when professional help may be needed and how to connect the person to that help.

Access Information

Youth may book appointments in person or by phone. Walk in services are also available, depending on service provider availability.

Off Site / Community Hours: Wednesday: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PMMain Hours: Monday - Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Wednesday - Saturday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Main hours take place at the main office. Saturday hours are one week at main office, alternating week at a community location. Summer hours in place for July and August.
