Program Description

Binesi Waziswon Treatment and Healing Services is a live-in stabilization and treatment program for youth who reside in the North region, aimed at addressing complex mental health needs of youth. Youth entering this program may be stepping up from a community-based support, where without intervention, will likely lead to admission to an inpatient unit. Alternatively, youth accessing this program may be stepping down from an inpatient unit where there are no imminent safety concerns, but an identified need for additional support before transitioning back to community.

Access Information

Access to the program is based on referral by children’s mental service provider, psychiatrist, family doctor or nurse practitioner and/or hospital emergency department.
