Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health

Program Description

This program offers face-to-face and telephone consultations to health care professionals in hospitals and communities in South-eastern Ontario. Liaison with the referral source and agencies involved in the individuals' care may be extensive. One-time clinical consultation is also available and involves assessment by a clinician and a report back to the referral source. In some communities telepsychiatry sessions are offered.

Access Information

Referrals for consultation can be made by contacting the Intake Coordinator.
Adults with stable moderate to severe mental illness of at least two years duration. Last psychiatric admission must be greater than 6 months prior to referral and client must have an established contact with a family physician.
