Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health
The Regional Eating Disorders Program provides specialist outpatient eating disorders assessment and treatment to individuals and families.
All participants of the eating disorder program need to be medically monitored either by their general practitioner or a nurse practitioner.
Adults are offered treatment through a CBT-e (enhanced cognitive behaviour therapy) program.
For individuals under the age of 17, an individualized treatment plan is devised involving CBT-e and family-based treatment.
The program accepts self-referrals and referrals from community partners. Primary care can be referred through the Oceans e-referral platform.
