Intensive/Day Treatment - Mental Health
In partnership with the Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association (BANA), the Windsor Essex Community Health Centre, Teen Health site and Windsor Regional Hospital (WRH) The Windsor Essex Intensive Outpatient Program for Eating Disorders (WEIOP) offers a variety of groups and individual sessions, along with supervised meal support to assist in one's journey towards achieving normalized eating. This is done by addressing both nutritional and psychosocial problems. This service has been developed to address the needs of individuals who require treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other specified feeding or eating disorders.
Referral accepted from Primary Care Providers. Referral are completed through the Windsor-Essex Eating Disorders Intake Consultation at BANA (Centralized/Coordination Access) where individuals are assessed for program eligibility.
Eligibility Criteria: This program is for individuals with complex eating disorders who have not successfully responded to less intensive program; or for individuals “stepping down” from more intensive treatments.
