Information and Referral Service

Program Description

The Intake, Information and Referral Program assists individuals who are seeking information about CMHA Toronto programs and services. This includes clients, family members and friends of people living with mental health challenges, physicians, health care workers and social service workers.

Service includes:

- Responding to telephone, email and in-person inquiries about mental health services in Toronto
- Screening whether someone might be eligible for CMHA Toronto services
- Making referrals to appropriate CMHA Toronto programs and/or providing information about other agencies
- Publishing the “Quick Guide to Mental Health Resources Serving Toronto”
- Supporting community events, fairs and speaking engagements as needed
