Centralized/Coordination Access
Abuse Services
Safety Network Durham operates a client-centered model that supports survivors of gender-based violence through a single access point. This initial confidential point of contact with a dedicated community coordinator provides a safe and supportive entry into the network of services (30 agencies), helping individuals access the resources they need with compassion and care, from one location. By facilitating direct connections with partner agencies, the program ensures smooth transitions between care providers. The model prioritizes timely, personalized support tailored to each individual's unique needs and circumstances. Women experiencing any type of gender-based violence can get help through Safety Network Durham. All services provided are free of charge with childcare and transportation available.
Anyone can refer including self-referrals. Call, email or complete the online referral form.
