Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is a program that helps people manage the stress in their lives. Using structured teachings and discussions, guided meditations, and gentle yoga, MBSR helps individuals learn how to change their reactions to stress and build habits that improve how they manage that stress. As part of this program, participants will be encouraged to set aside 20-30 minutes every day to practice the techniques taught each week.
Self-referrals are welcome. Call or email to register.
Al applicants must attend an information session and meet with program facilitators before the program starts to ensure the MBSR program is the right fit.
