Bed-Based Treatment - Substance Use
The Paddock Woods Treatment Facility provides participants at Paddock Wood will have access to medical support provided by a Nurse Practitioner, as well as support from Fourcast staff on-site 24/7.
Treatment provided includes evidence-based best practice approaches combined with individual counselling, psycho-education, and life skills groups to foster interpersonal engagement while learning about topics including managing cravings, coping with anxiety, changing habits, effective communication, social supports, and much more.
Our treatment approaches are informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy tools and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy skills, and delivered from a Motivational Interviewing lens to help service users meet their recovery goals.

Individuals must be prepared to access bed-based withdrawal management services for a period of time to safely withdrawal from substances prior to admission. Length and needs of withdrawal management are dependent on a variety of factors and will be assessed at point of offer of admission.
This location requires services users to be able to actively participate in physical activity such as climbing stairs, walking and recreational and therapeutic programs of varying intensity.
