Bed-Based Treatment - Substance Use

Program Description

Live-in, group based, addictions treatment. One bed is designated specifically for pregnant women. Models used are biopsychosocial, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, first stage trauma treatment, including stages of change and harm reduction principles. Holistic program offering group and individual counselling in a variety of approaches (process, education, psychodrama, creative expression, etc.). Pregnant women are given priority access to services.

Access Information

Referrals accepted from addictions counsellors. A pre-admissions intake is required.
An assessment from a community addictions agency is required to demonstrate suitability and a clinical need for a 21 day intensive program. If an individual requires support with connecting with a local community addictions agency, call the program directly for information and further direction.
