Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health

Program Description

This program provides counselling and treatment for adolescents and adults who have or appear to have an eating disorder. The service format includes individual and family counselling and nutritional therapy.

Access Information

Individuals must be referred by a primary care practitioner through one-Link.

Suitability for this program is as follows: minimum BMI criteria of 16.5; diagnosis of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, & Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS); family involvement for teenage clients; regular medical monitoring by the family doctor.

This program provides service to North & South Halton for both adults and teens. This program serves Mississauga for clients aged 18 and under only.
