Program Description

The Acute Assessment Program is an acute care mental health program that functions in a manner similar to a general psychiatric program. The program provides an inter-professional team approach, to assess and offer short-term treatment of acute mental health problems.

Access Information

Referrals accepted from:
- Form 1 from hospitals
- voluntary referrals on request of physician

Referrals are received by the Central Intake Office and reviewed by a team of clinicians. Contact the Central Intake Office or see website for referral forms.

Individuals must be medically stable.
