Crisis Intervention

Program Description

Crisis intervention including:
- Crisis Triage in the Emergency Department at Ross Memorial Hospital
- Hospital to Home case manager to prevent admissions to the inpatient unit or expedite discharges from emergency or the inpatient unit
- Crisis Support counselor who will respond within 72 hours to a request for brief counseling
- Drop-in groups weekly for individuals seeking immediate support, recently discharged or those who find group support assists them in preventing hospitalization
- One on one support is also available to crisis patients.

Access Information

Referrals are accepted from anyone, including self-referrals.
Individuals in crisis may access the in the emergency department.
A Crisis Support worker can be accessed within 72 business hours of contacting the Central Intake number.
