Public Awareness - Mental Health
Health Promotion provides health education programs to individuals and family members of the CMHA Health Centre, as well as to individuals living in the community who may or may not receive services from CMHA. Ongoing needs assessments are completed to identify areas of concern and gaps in services. These assessments are used during program development to address the needs of individuals and the community.
Program activities and topic areas include education, promotion and prevention topics such as: smoking cessation; health fairs; education; chronic pain & low back pain groups; anxiety group; diabetes wellness; yoga.
Referrals accepted from all sources. Call for more information on how to register. Primary care at the CMHA Health Centre is for individuals with moderate to severe mental health concerns.
