The Seniors' Mental Health Community program offers a psychogeriatric consultation service in partnership with the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
The multidisciplinary team (psychiatrist, family physician, clinical nurse) is in place to serve elderly people who are affected by a mental illness or younger persons who are affected by age-related mental illness or a functional incapacity.
Services offered include: psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, recommendations regarding treatment and short term follow-up; support to service providers and families by the establishment of on-site follow-up or by telephone consultation with the psychiatrist, support counselling and psycho-education; and psycho-educational support to community organizations and other healthcare professionals interested in psycho-geriatrics.

Le programme de santé mentale communautaire pour les aînés offre un service de consultation psychogériatrique en partenariat avec l'équipe psychogériatrique du Centre de santé régionale de North Bay. L'équipe multidisciplinaire (psychiatre, médecin de famille, infirmière clinicienne) dessert les personnes âgées qui souffrent d'une maladie mentale ou des personnes plus jeunes qui souffrent d'une maladie mentale liée au vieillissement ou à une incapacité fonctionnelle. The Mental Health Court Outreach program is offered to persons affected by mental illness, associated problems and/or concurrent disorder, who are accused of one or more legal offences.
This program will: conduct psychosocial assessments and establish goals with individuals eligible for diversion; conduct pre-assessments to determine the eligibility of local referrals to the forensic program of the North Bay Regional Health Centre; support the client, family and friends during legal proceedings; refer clients to the appropriate community and mental health service and establish links between them; and offer court diversion functions in compliance with as well as working closely with the office of the Crown Attorney.

Le programme de santé mentale communautaire pour la cour est offert aux gens souffrant de maladie mentale, de troubles concomitants et/ou d'un diagnostic double, qui sont accusés d'avoir commis une ou des infractions légales mineures. Le programme fonctionne en partenariat avec le programme psycho-légal du site North Bay du Centre de santé régionale de North Bay. The Supportive Independent Living program refers to a variety of services offered to persons affected by a severe and persistent psychiatric illness.
These services are aimed at increasing individuals' well-being by offering clinical follow-up services, advocacy, coordination of services, family support, rehabilitation and the management of medical needs.

Le programme de soutien à la vie autonome se réfère à l'ensemble des services de réadaptation psychosociale et clinique offerts aux personnes souffrant d'une maladie mentale sévère et persistante. Ces services visent à augmenter le bien-être et l'autonomie des clients en leur offrant des services d'enseignements d'habiletés nécessaire à la vie autonome, de suivi clinique, de représentation, de coordination de services, de relation avec la famille, de réhabilitation vocationnelle et de gestion des besoins médicaux.

Provision and promotion of opportunities for the seriously mentally ill to develop interpersonal, social, and leadership skills in order to interact fully in their communities.
Social rehabilitation and recreation provides planning and consultation with other service providers, service coordination, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation. The program also links with other service providers to maximize opportunities for social rehabilitation to isolated persons.
A drop-in centre operates four times per week.

The Early Psychosis Intervention program is a specialized service aimed at intervening as early as possible with adolescents and young adults affected by their first psychotic episode, with the goal of reducing the severity of symptoms as well as reducing the risk of a decrease in functioning (both in the short and long term) on personal, social, professional and academic levels.
Services offered include: intervention services to clients and their family members; psychiatric consultation and regular follow-up; advocacy and service coordination; medication management; and education and prevention on the subject of psychosis for clients and their families.

Le programme d'intervention en matière de psychose précoce est un service spécialisé visant à intervenir le plus tôt possible auprès des adolescents - adolescentes et des jeunes adultes qui sont aux prises avec leur premier épisode de psychose, le tout afin de réduire la sévérité des symptômes ainsi que le risque de perturbation du fonctionnement du client sur le plan social, professionnel, scolaire et familial à court et à long terme. Les services offerts sont: services d'évaluation préliminaire; services d'intervention aux clients et aux membres de leur famille; consultation psychiatrique et suivi régulier; suivi régulier avec le médecin de famille; représentation auprès des autres organismes; gestion de médicaments et coordination de services; et services d'éducation et de prévention au sujet de la psychose pour le client et sa famille.

The Direct Accountability Program is an alternative to prosecution for individuals who have been charged with minor criminal offenses.
The program involves accused individuals being held accountable through community-based sanctions.
To be considered eligible for the program the accused must:
- be willing to accept responsibility for the actions that led to the charge
- be willing to make amends for their offence
- complete an agreement that outlines the terms of the sanction.

The Behavioural Supports Ontario (BSO) Community Clinician offers health care services for adults with complex and responsive behaviors associated with dementia, mental health, substance use and/or other neurological conditions.
The program also provides enhanced family caregiver support in the community, in long-term care or wherever the individual and/or caregiver(s) reside.
