This program allows participants to live in the community while receiving help for a substance use/process addiction problem. Youth participate in weekly individual counselling. Parent supports, including individual or couple coaching/counselling related to parenting a substance abusing youth, and psycho-educational support groups for parents.

Regular attendance is expected. Daily activities include group work, academics, life skills, recreation and community service opportunities. Individual counselling and case management occurs weekly or as needed. Participation in a Waterloo Region District School Board class room. Families are routinely involved in, and informed of treatment progress

Caregiver Support Services aims to help empower you to examine your own family system, without judgment, to determine any changes to enhance your youth’s journey to recovery. Individual therapy or group support options available. Individual sessions range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes.
