Abiona Centre, in collaboration with Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC), provides 27 rent-geared-to-income (RGI) units. Twenty-three (one-bedroom units) and four (two-bedroom units) are available to young parenting mothers aged 16-24, with a maximum stay of up to four years. Clients must meet the following eligibility criteria: - Young mothers aged 16-24 who are the primary caregivers (would have had their first child by the age of 19) - Homeless or under-housed - On waitlist with Access to Housing Toronto (potential clients will be assisted in their applications if necessary and appropriate) - Demonstrate a financial need - Applicant should be working or enrolled in a full-time or part-time program (training, trades, school, etc.) - Demonstrate the ability to live independently - Willing to participate in case management, monthly tenant meetings, quarterly service plans and workshops facilitated by Abiona Centre or in collaboration with partners.

Group-living setting for 22 young women, aged 13-21 and their babies. Women are supported by residential counsellors and social workers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The young women arrive at any time during pregnancy, and they and their babies stay for up to six months after delivery. The goals of the Prenatal Residential program include: - birth of healthy babies - early bonding - effective newborn support and care - teaching life skills for parenting and independent living

Provides support for young mothers, aged 16-21, and their babies. They live for up to 6 months in one of 10 partially furnished, self-contained apartment units. They pay modest rents, geared to their income. Residential counsellors and social workers ensure: - mom is coping - the attachment process is going well - baby is thriving - placement of the baby in the Early Learning program at the Centre.
