Services fully integrate Traditional and Western approaches to assess, diagnose and treat mental health problems across the life cycle. Mental Health Services are for all people with concerns about emotional, psychological, behavioural or cognitive health. Priority groups include people who are homeless, people affected by FASD/E, people in mental health crisis, seniors, and people with substance use or problem gambling concerns.

Mental health and addictions day treatment program based on a hybrid model of traditional and western healing approaches. Assists individuals on their wellness journey by helping them construct their identity as an Aboriginal person and learn about their culture and traditions. Individualized program allows clients to remain in program as long as clinically indicated, in some cases, up to two years. Individual counselling and group work provided. Program Eligibility: - 16+ years old - Experiencing addiction issues - Substance use has occurred in the last 6 months (exceptions to this can be made based on client need and program capacity); - Client is able to commit to a minimum of two groups per week, in addition to their weekly or biweekly counselling session (frequency determined by client and their assigned Chayuuweytim); - Client has some willingness to change - Client is indigenous or the significant other of someone who is indigenous (partner or parent for example);

Offers support to Indigenous community members who are living with alcohol, opioid or other substance use issues. Offers assessment of substance use issues, access to addiction medications (opiate replacement and anti-alcohol craving) and ongoing community support.

Services are for Anishnawbe Health Toronto clients who are First Nations, Inuit, Metis, a family of same (such as partners or parents of), and 16 years of age and up.
