Noojmowin Teg Health Centre provides psychology services to the seven First Nation and off-reserve indigenous populations within the Manitoulin Island District. The services include one-on-one and family consultations, psychological assessments and primary and prevention activities. The mental health services work in close collaboration with the traditional healing program, and referrals are made from the First Nation mental health workers and non-indigenous health providers island wide.
