For individuals seeking support with mental health concerns or challenges, counselling is provided by a team of therapists on a bi-weekly basis. This goal-oriented approach helps individuals identify priorities, build coping strategies and work toward meaningful change.

Provides non-emergency assessment, consultation and treatment, with care provided by Registered Nurses in collaboration with a geriatric psychiatrist or geriatrician. Services may include cognitive testing, supportive counselling, caregiver education and planning for ongoing care.

For individuals with non-urgent mental health concerns, this service offers a one-time psychiatric assessment delivered virtually. Individuals first meet with a nurse and then connect with a psychiatrist by secure video-conference for consultation, clinical impressions and recommendations on next steps in care.

Provides counselling and support for individuals seeking help with substance use, as well as for family members and friends affected by someone else’s substance use. Services are available across the lifespan in individual and group formats and may include education, skill-building and connection to community resources such as RAAM clinics, withdrawal management.
Focus: Problem Gambling
Provides individual and group counselling for individuals seeking support with their own gambling, gaming, internet or technology use, shopping, overspending and other behavioural concerns, as well as for family members and loved ones affected by someone else’s concerns. Services are available across the lifespan and may include education, coping and skill development and support for meaningful change. Counselling may also include connection to community resources or specialized treatment services when needed.

This service brings together outreach, brief counselling, groups, drop-ins, harm reduction education, naloxone training and help navigating community services to support people affected by substance use, problem gambling and behavioural addictions. It is available to individuals, as well as to family members and others affected by these concerns. Peer support workers are also part of the team and offer connection, understanding and encouragement grounded in lived experience.

A 24-hour mental health crisis support line is available, along with on-site assessments through local emergency departments. Short-term crisis counselling is also available to help address immediate needs and support stabilization.
