Program components include life skills, individual counselling, group counselling, supportive peer environment, home-like atmosphere, access to self-help community, art therapy, family involvement, case consultation, access to medical and limited dental care, and access to other community services as required. Leisure and recreational activities tied into daily program.

The treatment philosophy will employ both harm reduction and abstinence strategies, determined by client need. Participation in community self-help options will be encouraged but not mandatory. Case management involves coordinating all services received by individuals, reviewing and revising treatment plans at regular intervals, aftercare and follow-up. Groups that are available to clients include: Disease to Please; Change: attitude, thinking, and behaviour; Pulling Punches (anger and rage management); Misunderstood in Motherhood (guilt and change); and Dealing with Everyday Resentment.
