Weechi-it-te-win Family Services Inc.

Weechi-it-te-win Familly Services was founded as an “Anishinaabe Alternative” and continues to envision the revitalization of a system of child care that is root in the customs, traditions and values of the Anishinaable people of Treaty #3. Services provided by Weechi-it-te-win Family Services include: child care, alternative care, family preservation, psychological services, capacity building, family counselling, outpatient treatment for families, developmental support service, cultural support and youth in transition services. These services are available to members of the 10 (ten) First Nations residing in the Kenora/Rainy River District in North western Ontario.
