The Niagara Region Mental Health provides consumer support, case management (and counselling within the function of case management) and assertive community treatment services for adults 16 years and older who are experiencing a serious mental illness. Niagara Region Mental Health also provides early psychosis intervention services for clients aged 14-35. Telemedicine services are also available for clients aged 16 and over. Niagara Region Mental Health provides case management services provided by nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and community support staff. Education and support groups are also provided for anxiety disorders, seniors with depression, and a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) group for those struggling with borderline personality disorder.
